Gallery Submission

One Step On is a group of approximately 12 textile artists with qualifications in design and embroidery/textiles. Members meet monthly for mutual support and workshops. Each April the group selects a new subject for group members to interpret as they wish, and also a group project.
In 2011/2012 the subject was Tiffany glass, which started with a visit to Haworth Gallery's Tiffany glass collection. The group project was to each make a three dimensional piece. One piece of work from each member is shown below.
Currently the group is working on the theme of Woodland and started with a visit to Brinscall woods in the Spring. The group project is for each member to make a small item to hang from a branch.
