Aintree Catalogue

One Step On is a West Lancashire group of textile artists. Members have qualifications in Design and Embroidery and include textile tutors, textile graduates and award winning embroiderers. A key aim of the group is to exhibit members’ work and to promote textile art.

Monthly meetings provide a focus for mutual support and the exchange of ideas. We enjoy experimenting with new and old techniques and materials and the meetings provide a forum for in-house teaching and occasional sessions with an external tutor.  
 
In 2011 six members of the group each entered a piece of work for the "Inspired " competition at Gawthorpe Hall's Kay Shuttleworth collection. Two group members were "Highly Commended". Click here to see the entries.
